The photographic and online installation "bridges" explores the connection between contemporary photography of infrastructural architecture and elements of Renaissance style.

The project searches for possibilities of connecting these two vastly different and seemingly unrelated themes and seeking to find a common ground. The photographs pose as symbolic segment of the entire project, depicting parts of infrastructure that is fundamental to our modern world. On the other side of the project lies the theme of Renaissance style, characterized by a return to classical ideals, symmetry, and rhythmic structures.

A found common ground in the project emerges through the use of dimension lines on individual photographs of said structures. These lines reference the mathematical and geometric perspective that plays a crucial and fundamental role in Renaissance art. The visual language also inspires in the aesthetics of the construction industry and its environment—using blue electrical tape, printing on office paper, low-quality photographs, and a deliberately rough final documentation of the project.

Finally, the project is presented as a photographic composition, while also in a form of an online installation on the social media platform Instagram.
